In big cities, it's common to see indifference among people. Colleagues with average relationships rarely talk, and some even show cold faces when passing by face to face.
But occasionally you can still see cases of genuine human kindness.
Today while waiting for the bus, a passing bus arrived at the station, and when the doors were closing, the electric door pinched someone. The driver initially wanted to drive away immediately, but after reconsidering for a moment, the driver got out of the vehicle to ask the woman who was pinched. The woman said it wasn't a big deal, and only then did the driver return to his seat inside the bus. Watching this scene, I felt quite comfortable, not so cold, and saw genuine human warmth.
Why are people in big cities indifferent?
Everyone has great life pressures. Commuting to and from work takes 2-3 hours daily, working 8 hours, plus a few hours for company nap time and overtime, emotions are already completely drained. They don't want to put on a fake smile anymore. Everyone chooses to be themselves, with calm and comfortable expressions.
But many people still show their smiling moments when playing games or watching shows. Because this is when they are truly relaxed.
